Gospel singer Frank Edward has expressed his disapproval over a male fan’s decision to embark on a “119.4-kilometre walk-a-thon” from Abeokuta to Lagos just to see him.
The gospel singer had earlier shared a banner of the fan’s walk-a-thon announcement on his Facebook page to alert the public of his intention.
In the banner where the walk was announced, the man said he would begin the journey on Wednesday, December 13.
Reacting on Wednesday, Frank expressed shock saying, ” What? Is this even possible? Isn’t that risky Abeg oh.”
On Thursday, the singer took to his Facebook and Instagram accounts to condemn the man’s decision to embark on the walk.
The 34-year-old stated that besides being unavailable, he does not want to encourage the man because more people might engage in the act and put their lives in danger.
He wrote: ” In as much as I appreciate you all. I see no reason why anyone will encourage anyone to walk from Abeokuta to Lagos. It is unhealthy! It is risky!! It is stressful!! WHAT EXACTLY IS THE REASON? I DO NOT SUPPORT IT !!
“I am not even available. Or are you saying I should fly back to Nigeria to come and wait at the Lagos expressway?
“It makes no sense !! I don’t want to encourage it and have more people doing it and getting their lives in danger.

“There are better ways to celebrate people.”
“Very important ‼‼‼‼ I’m saying NO Because I care about y’all and I do not want to encourage it in any way and have others doing same,” Frank added in another post.
