Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Boboye Oyeyemi, has ordered the recall of the Rivers State Sector Commander, Andrew Kumapayi, and other officers for cutting-off some female officers’ hair.
The recall was confirmed by FRSC Head of Media Relations and Strategy of the Corps, Bisi Kazeem, to multiple media outlets.
Pictures of Kumapayi and other male FRSC cutting the hair of some female personnel in Port Harcourt during routine morning parade went viral on social media on Monday.
The affected female officials were alleged to have flouted the commission’s code of appearance.
Boboye, who condemned the act, said the recall was necessary in order to properly investigate the matter.
