Students of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) have created awareness for the medical condition of a young girl said to be a student of the institution, Bisola Oladapo.
News of Ms Bisola battling cancer and requiring urgent medical attention gained public attention on social media on Monday.
The campaigners said Bisola needed N15 million for surgery. They, however, did not say the kind of cancer she was suffering from.
They also called on Polaris bank to intervene in the matter. It turned out Bisola was an account holder in Polaris bank.
As at Tuesday morning, the campaigners say they have generated over N20 million, more than the required amount for the surgery.
