Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan, has criticised businessman, Wale Adejana, for the distasteful comments he made on Busola Dakolo’s rape allegation.
Wale Adejana defended Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) implying that Busola’s allegations were not genuine.
Responding to him, Funke Adesiyan branded his comments “disgusting.”
“@walejana I just read the disgusting write up you put up aimed at discrediting @busoladakolo whilst tarnishing her husband alongside. You are neither the accused @biodunfatoyinbo nor his shadow. How can you stand up for someone who lives his life devoid of you. I am ashamed you are a Yoruba man. Our men are known to be strong, firm and protector of their girl child. Men like you are reason rape victims commit suicide. Let the accused defend himself in truth and light,” she wrote.
Busola Dakolo had accused Fatoyinbo of raping her in an interview with Chude Jideonwo on YNaija TV.
In the interview, the celebrity photographer revealed that as a teenager in the Divine Delight Club, the precursor to COZA, she was groomed and raped by the pastor.
She said it happened while she was a 16-year-old secondary school student living with her parents in Ilorin, Kwara State.
