Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has celebrated her husband JJC Skillz ahead of the release of her movie Omo Ghetto (The Saga).
The 43-year-old shared a picture of herself and JJC SKillz in an Instagram post on December 12.
She thanked him for his creativity on the movie.
“Thanks Baba Ibeji!! ❤️❤️ your creativity is top notch 👍🏾 @jjcskillz Oluwa a maa wa pelu wa,” she wrote.
JJC Skillz, 43, also shared the same picture on Instagram.
He said, “Love you my darling @funkejenifaakindele May we always have a reason to laugh and be merry. Our home shall forever radiate happiness unto the world by God’s grace Amen.”
Omo Ghetto (The Saga) was directed by both Funke and JJC Skillz.
On December 10, Funke released a video for Omo Ghetto (The Saga) movie soundtrack titled ‘Askamaya Anthem’.
JJC Skillz shared pictures from the shooting of ‘Askamaya Anthem’ in an Instagram post on December 11.
“When your passion becomes your profession, Life is bliss. Bts of #askamayaanthem video shoot. Hope you enjoyed the video,” he wrote.
On November 2, Funke released the first teaser of the movie.
She released the official trailer on November 27.
The prequel Omo Ghetto was released in 2010 starring Funke Akindele, Rachel Oniga, Taiwo Hassan, Yinka Quadri, and Eniola Badmus.
The movie is based on societal vices by a women-dominated gang.
Omo Ghetto The Saga will be released in cinemas from December 25.
Funke and JJC Skillz got married in May 2016.
They welcomed their twins in 2018.
