Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has warned her fans against certain fake Instagram accounts which have allegedly been promising giveaways in her name.
The 42-year-old issued the warning on Wednesday when she shared screenshots of the pages on Instagram.
“My attention has been brought to these fake accounts on social media using my name for Giveaways @funkeakindelelife funkeakindelejeniifa.tv funkeakindeleonline
I am in no way connected to these accounts. Please help report these pages and beware of fraudsters. Thank you,” she wrote.
The ‘Jenifa’ star issued a similar warning in July 2016.
Other celebrities like Peruzzi, Toyin Abraham, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo and jaiye Kuti, have also warned their fans against similar scams.
