Actress turned filmmaker Funke Akindele and screen diva Nse Ikpe-Etim were among the many celebrities who stole the spotlight at the premiere of Funke’s latest film A Tribe Called Judah.
The star-studded premiere took place at the Imax Cinema in Lagos on Sunday with the theme: “Costume Party Extravaganza.”
Funke showed up at the event looking like a fairy princess while Nse was dressed as a clown.
The Omo Ghetto actress took no chances in taking centre stage as all eyes were on her at the event. Funke wore a beautiful gown decorated with gold, a silver crown and a long veil to match the attire.
The mother of two shared a video of herself via Instagram rocking the gorgeous look with elegance and poise. While captioning the video, Funke expressed gratitude to her stylist, the designer of the dress and the person who did her make-up.
She wrote: “All glory be to GOD!!! #atribecalledjudah premiere!! I’m so ready. Thank you @veekee_james @zackstyling_luxury @peaceibadin_mua @adefunkeee You like?”
Nse on her part, pulled off a never before look as she dressed up looking like a clown. The actress wore a red jacket and red pants to match, with her face painted white, blue and red clownishly.
Fellow cast of the film Jidekene Achufusi aka Swanky JKA shared a video of himself, Funke, Nse, Uzee Usman, Uzor Aruwe and Timini Egbuson on their way to the movie premiere.
Swanky was dressed as pirate Jack Sparrow, a character played by Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, while Uzee turned up as an Emir and Timini represented the popular Super Mario character.
Others who attended are Ini Dima-Okojie, Sharon Ooja, Shaffy Bello, Ruth Kadiri, Yvonne Jegede, Uti Nwachukuwu, Seyi Awolowo, Boma Akpore, Tania Omotayo, Nosa Rex and Hild Dokubo who was dressed at as priestess.
