Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, on Saturday played host to friends and family to celebrate her husband, JJC Skillz, who turned 43.
In spite of a lockdown imposed by President Muhammadu Buhari to curb the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, a birthday party was held for the man born Abdul Rasheed Bello at the couple’s home at Amen Estate, Lekki, Lagos.
Among guests at the party were singer, Naira Marley, and actress, Eniola Badmus.
With Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu having earlier placed a ban on a gathering of more than 50 people, some fans were disappointed at the nature of the party, particularly as Lagos is the epicenter of the coronavirus in Nigeria.
Not a few called attention to the fact that Funke is the face of a coronavirus campaign by Dettol and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
