Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele, on Sunday prayed for wisdom to know when to be silent.
The 42-year-old made the supplication in a Facebook post alongside a picture taken inside her house.
Writing in Yoruba, she said “Oluwa ko mi mo se! Je ki n mo Igba ti o Ye ki n dake!! (Lord, teach me what to do. Let me know when to be silent)”.
The Jenifa star also took to Instagram to remind her fans to take care of themselves.
“Sometimes you try so hard to take care of everyone else that you forget to take care of yourself,” she wrote.
Funke has emerged stronger after she was arrested, tried and fined for holding a party in her Lekki home earlier in the month in spite of the lockdown imposed to tackle coronavirus.
The party was to celebrate the 43rd birthday of her husband, JJC Skillz.
Husband and wife pleaded guilty to violating the lockdown restrictions in a magistrate’s court and were fined N100,000 each.
As well as the fine, the couple were ordered to do 14 days of community service.
Last week, Funke released a video telling Nigerians the coronavirus is real and that they should stay at home as advised by medical experts.
