Filmmaker Funke Akindele has responded to a fan who questioned when she would be purchasing a Lamborghini amid the ongoing social media buzz surrounding the luxury car.

Lamborghini trended over the weekend following a controversy involving singer Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje.

In a leaked audio conversation, Sophia accused Burna Boy of failing to fulfill his promise of buying her a Lamborghini after a one-night stand.

She claimed she eventually bought the car herself after blocking him.

The revelation sparked debates online, with many questioning her expectations from the singer.

As the conversation continued trending, a fan took to Snapchat on Sunday to ask Funke Akindele, “When are you buying a Lamborghini?”

The 47-year-old actress responded in a playful yet sarcastic tone, noting how social media users often turn everything into a joke.

She threatened to block the fan, saying, “Everything is always funny to you people, abi? I will block you. It is everything you guys are using to trend?”
