Actress Funke Akindele has refuted a report that she gifted her sister Olubunmi Akindele a duplex to celebrate her 50th birthday.
The filmmaker dismissed the report in an Instagram story on Sunday after a Facebook blogger reported that Funke gave Olubunmi a duplex in Amen Estate Ibeju-Lekki to mark her 50th birthday.
“Nollywood star actress Funke Akindele celebrates her big sister’s 50th birthday. She gifted her a duplex in Amen Estate Lekki,” the report by Kilaza TV read.
Reacting, Funke posted the report on her Instagram story, describing report as ‘crazy’.
“Awon werey oniro,” she wrote in Yoruba.
Olubunmi who is popularly known as NeeCee Boss Lady also stated that the information was false.
“Na liee oo, please ignore,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
On her 50th birthday last week, Funke penned a message for Olubunmi to celebrate her.
She wrote: “Happy 50th birthday to you my darling sister!!! May the good Lord keep blessing you. May you always have reasons to smile. Have fun sis. 50 never looked this good. @neeceebosslady.”
Funke is Olubunmi’s younger sister.
