Actress Funke Akindele has replied to Eniola Badmus’ goodwill message on Instagram wishing her well on her 46th birthday.
On Thursday, Eniola tagged Funke in a message on Instagram with a picture of the filmmaker, praying that she would continue to live in good health.
She wrote, “Happy birthday Lafunky continue to live long momma in good health and in wealth @funkejenifaakindele.”
Funke replied in the comments section, thanking Eniola for her message. She referred to Eniola as “First Daughter Nigeria” an allusion to the actress’s role in the victory of President Bola Tinubu at the 2023 presidential election.
“Badosky!!! Ode!!! First Daughter Nigeria. Thank you so much. If I catch you. 😂😂,” Funke wrote.

Eniola and Funke have been severally rumoured to be at loggerheads.
Funke was the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos for the March 18, 2023 election while Eniola is a firm and vocal supporter of Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The duo were politically divided over their support for preferred presidential and governorship candidates.
Although Eniola congratulated Funke on her emergence as Olajide Adediran aka Jandor’s running mate in the PDP, the two friends kept their distance from each other on social media, especially on posts about supporting their candidates.
