Actress Funke Akindele and her siblings, Olubunmi and Poga Akindele, have paid tribute to their mother Victoria Akindele on her second death anniversary.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Funke expressed how surreal her mother’s passing still feels.
“Mum, it’s been two years since you left us. It still feels like a dream, my darling mother. I miss you so much!! Keep resting in peace,” she wrote.
Her sister, Olubunmi also shared a heartfelt tribute along with a video, describing their mother as a woman who made sacrifices for her children.
“To the woman who birthed me and loved me unconditionally despite my excesses!! To the one who lived a great and exemplary life, filled with love, compassion, sacrifice, and grace. It’s been 365 days since you departed this world; though a hard pill to swallow, we bless God for His grace,” she wrote.
Poga, on his part, posted a picture of their mother, writing, “Two years without you hasn’t been easy, but I know you’re happy up there. I miss you so much, Mum.”
Victoria Akindele died in February 2023.
