Actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has supported her colleague Eniola Ajao by promoting the latter’s latest film Beast of Two Worlds amid controversy about crossdresser Bobrisky winning the best-dressed female at the movie premiere.
Funke shared a trailer of the film her Instagram account on Wednesday, encouraging her followers to watch the film in the cinema on March 29.
She wrote: “The Beast is coming!!! I can’t wait to see this movie #ajakaju #beastofbothworlds Congratulations @eniola_ajao Guys!!! Let’s all go see AJAKAU(Beast of both worlds) at the cinemas from the 29th of March!!!”
Reacting in the comment section of the post, a grateful Eniola wrote: “Someone once asked me why I carry Funke Akindele on my head, I said loving someone shouldn’t have a reason because the reason can fly out the window anytime. My love you is endless, Mama.

The announcement of Bobrisky as the best-dressed female was received with mix reactions as some celebrities including Dayo Amusa questioned why a crossdresser was placed in a female category.
On Tuesday, Femi Adebayo who announced Bobrisky as the winner, tackled Dayo Amusa for over her comment on the matter.
This comes after Femi’s wife Aduke called the actress a “hypocrite and a liar”.
