Actor Uzee Usman has revealed that the reason Funke Akindele suspended filming A Tribe Called Judah is that he was on the set of Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre.
Recall that earlier in January, Uzee Usman explained that he had other jobs at the time, therefore, featuring in Funke’s project became a challenge for him but the actress was kind enough to suspend filming for one month so he could meet up.
However, in an interview with QEDNG on the red carpet of Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre premiere, the Kannywood star finally revealed that he was filming with Kunle Afolayan.
He said: “The engagement is Anikulapo, I was actually filming Anikulapo, the date clashed and I really needed to work with Funke, that was the first time I was working with Funke and Kunle Afolayan is like a godfather, I can’t say no to him so I need to go tell her, I begged her and she said no problem, ‘Its you I see in this project, I cannot change you bro’, so she shigted the job for one month which is very rare for any filmmaker to do.”
