Nollywood celebrities Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham have reacted to an Instagram post their colleagues Eniola Badmus and Iyabo Ojo made, few days after Iyabo accused Funke of sponsoring negative reviews about Toyin Abraham’s new movie.
Iyabo had accused Funke Akindele of bribing an Instagram movie critic Cinema Pointer to give negative reviews on Toyin Abraham’s new movie The Ghost and the Tout too.
Toyin in another Instagram post on Monday announced that The Ghost and the Tout too which premiered the same day Funke Akindele’s Omo Ghetto: The Saga premiered on Netflix had sold more tickets than her previous movie amid the negative review.
With both actresses aggressively marketing their movies, Eniola Badmus who also starred in Omo Ghetto made an Instagram post on Tuesday which fans believed was directed at Iyabo Ojo.
“When people throw you stones, It’s because you are a good tree and full of fruits, They see a lot of harvest in you. Don’t go down to their level by throwing stones, but throw them your fruits so the seed of yourself may inspire them to change their ways,” she wrote.
