Filmmaker Funke Akindele’s A Tribe Called Judah has lost all nominated categories in the just concluded 2024 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

A Tribe Called Judah bagged five nominations but failed to secure a win.

Funke who was nominated in the best lead actress category, lost to Kehinde Bankole who won for her role in Adire.

Timini Egbuson lost the best supporting actor category to Demola Adedoyin of Breath of Life while the best writing went to Tunde Babalola for Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti.

Breath of Life also won the best movie, beating Black Book, Blood Vessel, Mami Wata, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, Over the Bridge and A Tribe Called Judah.
