Abdulrasheed Bello, husband of Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has acquired a brand new Toyota Prado, days after his wife took delivery of a Lexus LX 570 SUV.
The man popularly known as JJC Skillz uploaded videos of his latest acquisition on Instagram on Monday, April 19.
His excited wife could be heard congratulating him in the videos, acknowledging how hard he works.
The 44-year-old replied with the message “thank you my queen.”
Funke announced the acquisition of her Lexus LX 570 in an Instagram post on Friday, April 16, telling the Lagos tax authorities that it is a gift.
“Thank you #jenifans,” the 43-year-old began her post, adding a postscript to the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service: “LIRS!! I beg na gift o”.
The actress’ husband also congratulated her in a post on Instagram accompanied by a video of the couple driving to the car dealer’s shop.
“Hard work pays my darling. Congratulations for your new ride,” said the man who once led a music group known as JJC & 419 Squad.
Funke’s older sister Olubunmi Akindele also congratulated her on the new vehicle.
“This woman right here is one of the most hardworking women I know! As in she works her a*** off!
“Congratulations ‘Afunkyatu’ this is just the beginning of God’s blessings upon your life,” Ms. Akindele wrote in a Facebook post.
She returned to Facebook on Monday to congratulate her brother-in-law on the acquisition of his SUV.
“So my hardworking brother-in-law acquires a brand new SUV… Congrats Skillz, your testimony is permanent in Jesus’ name,” her message read in parts.
Funke Akindele and her husband worked on the box office hit Omo Ghetto the Saga.
The movie which was released on December 25, 2020 has grossed N636,129,120 as of April 15, 2021.
