Comedian Funnybone has recounted the loss of his mum on the second anniversary of her death.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Funnybone said that losing a loved one hits differently and words can not express the pain that comes with the feeling.
Recounting the loss of his mum, the comedian said that he felt goosebumps before he was informed of his mother’s passing. He also added that he still cries himself to sleep and unconsciously dials his mum’s phone number.
“Losing a loved one hits differently and words can’t express the pain that comes with the feeling. Just like yesterday, I remember the goosebumps I felt hours before I was told that you were gone. The moment I picked the call I knew deep down that you were gone.
“I still cry myself to sleep and unconsciously find myself dialing your number. I miss our occasional long calls. Our last conversation and the good things you said to me from your heart. You said I make you proud But you left just like that.
“2yrs today but the pain is still fresh and I can only pray for God to heal and console me. A lot of things no longer seem the same cause you are not here,” he wrote.
