Organisers of the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) have announced comedian Funnybone as the host for the 2021 edition.
The announcement was made by the AMAA founder Peace Anyiam-Osigwe during a press lunch on Wednesday.
According to Anyiam-Osigwe, the event will hold on November 28 in Lagos, while the nominations list will be released on October 21st.
She also stated that AMAA remains the biggest and most credible jury-based reward system for filmmakers and professionals in the motion picture industry from Africa and Africans in diaspora and this year’s award selection will remain unbiased.
