Fantasy series, Game of Thrones, on Sunday, premiered for its six-episode, final season with an episode titled ‘Winterfell.’
The movie opens in the North as Jon Snow arrives Stark ancestral home, Winterfell, with Daenerys Targaryen.
Unlike the first six seasons that each had ten episodes and the seventh that had seven episodes, the eighth season only has six episodes.
Like the seventh season, it largely consists of original content not found in author, George R. R. Martin’s, A Song of Ice and Fire series.
The information used for the move were materials Martin revealed to the showrunners about the upcoming novels in the series, The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring.
The season was adapted for television by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss.
It was reported that actors Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion), Lena Headey (Cersei), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime) received a whopping $1.1million (£885,000).
