Two commissioners in the Abdullahi Ganduje administration in Kano attended the funeral of the father of ex-governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.
The commissioner for local government Murtala Garo and that of rural development Musa Kwankwaso were among hundreds of people who joined in the funeral.
Musa Saleh-Kwankwaso, who until his death was the Makaman Karaye, died in the early hours of Friday in Kano at the age of 93.
The funeral prayer was led by a renowned Kano-based Islamic scholar Sheikh Aminu Daurawa at the residence of the former governor along Miler road Bompai, Nasarawa Local Government Area.
Also in attendance were former governor of Jigawa State Sule Lamido; Senator Rufa’i Hanga and Kawu Sumaila.
