Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, has lost his father, Lamidi Adams, at the age of 80.
Pa Adams passed on in the early hour of Saturday in a private hospital in Lagos.
A statement by the family said Pa Lamidi Adams ran a private transport business in Oturkpo, Benue State before joining Desmony Nig. Ltd.
He worked at the Italian company as head of transport unit before venturing into his personal transport business.
Pa Adams is survived by many children.
Burial arrangements will be announced later.
