Former governor of Ogun State Gbenga Daniel on Friday celebrated his wife Olufunke Daniel on her 57th birthday with a lovely note posted on Twitter.
Mr Daniel said his wife has done the “race” with him for the most part and wished her good health among others.
“It’s my better half’s birthday today. YEYE Olufunke Daniel has done the race with me for most part of the journey. Happy birthday to ‘the sugar in my tea, the rose in my garden’ who has insisted on low key celebrations. I wish her many more years and prosperity in good health,” he wrote.
Mrs Daniel enrolled at the School of Basic Sciences, Ogun State Polytechnic now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta for her advanced levels course.
She later proceeded to the University of Ibadan where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Biology.
