Actress Kate Henshaw has opened up about her relationship with her colleague Genevieve Nnaji.
The 52-year-old shared her thoughts about the Sharon Stone actress in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
Chude shared a snippet of the conversation on his Instagram account on Saturday.
In the short clip, Kate said she has had issues with Genevieve in the past but she still loves and respects her. She added that the actress sometimes pulls away from people.
Kate also recounted her continuer with Genevieve during a Netflix commercial.
She said: “Genevieve, we’ve had our issues but not big issues you know, I’ve loved her, you know sometimes she pulls away, she pulls away from everybody and you’re like ‘Am I smelling?’.
“We met at a Netflix shoot, they took a few of us, Genevieve and I from Nigeria, so we went to shoot a commercial ‘This is Netflix,’ and before then we hadn’t seen, we hadn’t spoken for years and she was so nice to me. And then she left the set before us and than she said ‘Kate I’ve gone, just wanna say goodbye’, you know but I respect her because despite the fact that she pulls away, I think she is like an Angelina Jolie, just want to be on your own.”
Last year, it was alleged that Genevieve was hospitalised over issues of mental health.

On May 10, 2022, Genevieve deleted all her Instagram photos and videos, months after she unfollowed everybody on the social media platform.
She, however, made a grand return to Instagram in November 2023 with photos from her movie premiere.
