Nollywood actresses Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic, Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham and Shan George have mourned the victims of #EndSARS protest at Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos.
Some of the actresses shared Instagram photos of the protesters while others shared a blank photo with the date ’20 10 20′ written on it.
Genevieve Nnaji who shared a photo of some of the protesters wrote: “Forever in our hearts.”
“A year later and we still don’t have answers. We Will Never Forget,” Rita wrote.
Funke and Toyin shared a photo with the date ’20 10 20′ written on it.
Shan George who shared a photo of herself during the last protest wrote: “20:10:2020 We will never forget.”
Meanwhile, other celebrities like Richard Moje-Damijo, Clarion Chukwurah, Annie Idibia, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage also joined in commemorating the first anniversary of the #EndSARS protest.
