Genevieve Nnaji’s Road to Yesterday to close AFRIFF 2015

GenevieveWith about 180 movies scheduled for screening during the 5th edition of Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), Genevieve Nnaji’s Road to Yesterday has been selected as the closing film for the festival.

It is the actress work as producer.

Jonas Carpignano’s Mediterranean will be the opening film for the festival.

Other films expected to feature at the festival include Akin Omotoso’s Tell Me Something Sweet, Desmond Elliot’s Reflections and Yared Zeleke’s Lamb.

The selected movies will be viewed across three cinemas in Lagos including the Silverbird Cinema, Genesis Deluxe Cinema and City Mall Cinema from November 8 to November 15, 2015

According to the festival’s artistic director, Keith Shiri, “The selection in this edition is not only celebrating African cinema but demonstrates once more that the cinematic story telling industry in Africa has become more compelling and visible”.
