Telecommunications giant, Globacom, has sacked Wizkid, P-Square, Wande Coal as brand ambassadors, Qed.ng can confirm.
Also affected are Burna Boy and Sammie Okposo.
While Wizkid, who joined Glo from MTN for N120million in 2015, has announced his departure from the company, the others are yet to issue any statement on the development.
Officially no longer with GLO, it was nice working with the amazing people at the company, wish the company the best in the future. Love ❤️

A source in the company owned by Mike Adenuga, however, confirmed to this medium in a telephone conversation on Saturday morning that P-Square and Wande Coal are no longer on their ambassadorial list.
“P-Square, Wande Coal and Wizkid are no longer with us. You can see that their names were missing when we announced that Timaya has joined us as ambassadors,” the source who craved anonymity told us.
Globacom on Friday listed Basketmouth, Bovi, Reekado Banks, Korede Bello, Di’Ja, Patience Ozokwor, Omawumi, Ego Ogbaro, Yvonne Nelson, Nadia Buari and MI as ambassadors.
The company had in March officially denied dropping the P-Square duo of Peter and Paul Okoye.
It came after weeks of speculation that the brothers had been axed following bitter family rivalry which spilled to social media.
“We have not disengaged P-Square or any of our other ambassadors. We are currently in the process of reviewing our contracts with the brand ambassadors,” the company said.
That first fallout of that review was the announcement by D’banj in August that he was launching a project named CREAM on the platform of Glo’s bitter rival, MTN.
South Africa-owned MTN had in September dropped Don Jazzy Davido, Tiwa Savage, Dr. Sid, Sound Sultan, Banky W, KCee and Harrysong as ambassadors in a move blamed on Nigeria’s economic recession.
