Nollywood actress, Queen Ebigieson, stunned guests at the 50th birthday celebration of senior colleague, Gloria Young, on Sunday when she said the latter once advised her against getting an abortion.
Speaking at a ceremony held in Ikeja, the actress who is often quoted as saying she does not date men her age, said the celebrant gave her the advice when they met on a production set some years ago.
“Gloria looked at me and said if I was ever considering abortion, I should drop the idea,” the mother of one said.
According to her, Mrs Young had seen something on her hand which hinted at keloid and said having an abortion may be fatal for her.
Many years after, Queen is full of gratitude for the advice and said she probably owes the daughter she has to it.
Also present at the birthday celebration were Hilda Dokubo, Segun Arinze, Yemi Blaq and Lepacious Bose.
Gloria’s husband, Nobert Young, was chief host at the event.
