Olori Tobi Phillips-Ogunwusi, one of the wives of Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has broken her silence following the birth of their twins.
The palace disclosed the news of the children’s birth on the Ooni’s Instagram page on Saturday.
“To God be the glory, great things he has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire house of Oduduwa and Olori Tobiloba who today birthed a prince and princess to the royal throne of Oduduwa. Mother and children are doing well to the glory of God Almighty,” the post read.
Speaking on the birth of her twins in an Instagram post on Thursday, Olori Tobi who shared some photos, stated that God has given her a double blessing for her trouble.
She wrote: “God Said “Watch Me Do This!” Agbanilagbatan Gave Me Double For My Trouble.”
Olori Tobi is the third of the six wives taken by the first-class monarch in 2022.
Oba Ogunwusi married Olori Tobi, a former beauty queen, in October 2022 while picking his new set of wives after some unsuccessful attempts.
Their wedding came nearly four years after it was reported that the traditional ruler was set to marry her following his divorce from Wuraola Otiti.
