Internet giant, Google, is celebrating the 56th posthumous birthday of former Super Eagles captain and coach, Stephen Keshi, with a special doodle that celebrates his achievements at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The Big Boss who died of a heart attack in Benin City, Edo State on June 7, 2016, is one of only two people, along with Egypt’s Mahmoud El-Gohary, to have won the AFCON as both a player and a coach.
He achieved the feats in 1994 and 2013 respectively.
The doodle features image depicting the former Anderlecht player as coach and footballer with his iconic No 4 jersey.
It has the letters 94 and 13 to commemorate the years he won the AFCON.
Google had on November 16, 2017 celebrated renowned Nigerian writer and teacher, Chinua Achebe, with a doodle to mark his 87th posthumous birthday.
