Gospel singer, Sinach, has welcomed her first child after five years of marriage.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of LoveWorld Ministries International (aka Christ Embassy) broke the news at the LIMA Awards held recently in Lagos at Loveworld Convocation Arena.
The teary Sinach won the Song of the Year Award 2019 for her single “There’s An Overflow” scooping $100,000 prize money.
“Thank you for that song, we are all excited with what the Lord has done in your life, of course in the life of many others standing with you here we just love you. And I told them, you just had a baby! so everybody got excited,” Oyakhilome said.
The 46-year-old singer got married to Pastor Joe Egbu in 2014.
Sinach is one of few female gospel artistes from Africa who have over 1 million subscribers on YouTube.
