Gospel singers Sunmisola Agbebi and her husband Yinka Okeleye have welcomed their first child together.
On Monday, Yinka shared a post on Instagram, featuring photos of the couple in matching sky-blue outfits, with Sunmisola heavily pregnant.
He expressed his gratitude to God saying, “Jesus gives the best gifts. We are grateful Lord,” though he did not confirm whether the child had been born yet.
However, their cameraman Femi-Oke Opeyemi revealed the news, sharing, “And the Lord has blessed us with a Child. Glory to God.
“🥳🥳🥳🥳 Congratulations to my brother @yinka_okeleye and sister @sunmisola_agbebi on this blessed addition. What a Joy. We are truly blessed. What a way to step into the new year…. Halleluyah 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳.”
The couple, still keeping some details private, has not disclosed the newborn’s name, gender, or exact date of birth.
However, the announcement has sparked a flood of congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues.
Gospel stars including Korede Bello, Sinach and Moses Bliss extended their well-wishes.
Sinach wrote, “Congrats my dears.”
Korede Bello added, “Congratulations ma.”
Sunmisola, 26, got engaged to Yinka in a private ceremony in March 2023.
They tied the knot on June 3, that same year.
Sunmisola first gained attention for her collaboration with Yinka on a worship video that became popular on YouTube in 2022.
A former winner of the Ikorodu Radio Music Challenge in 2017, she has since released multiple hit songs, including “B’ola” in 2023.
Yinka, who began his music career during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) days in Ebonyi state, discovered his calling while serving at the Nigeria Christian Corpers’ Fellowship (NCCF) in Abakaliki.
