Reacting, the 41-year-old congratulated Tems in an Instagram post on Thursday. Tiwa also congratulated Benniese-American music icon Angelique Kidjo on her Grammy nomination.
“Big win but I’m especially. Excited for my Queens ooo. Tems Baby and Angelique Kidjo,” she wrote.
Tems was nominated for Best Global Music Performance for ‘Essence’, her collaboration with Wizkid.
Tiwa, however, did not congratulate her at the time which sparked reactions from Twitter users, accusing her of not supporting her female colleagues in the music industry.
