Actress Judy Austin, second wife of actor Yul Edochie, on Thursday night sent words of encouragement to her husband following the death of his son with his first wife May.
The actor’s child Kambilinachukwu died on March 30 after he developed a seizure in school while playing football with his mates.
Following Yul’s message of appreciation to all for their love and concern for his family at this difficult time, Judy described him as a great man in her Instagram post.
She reposted his message of appreciation and said great men face great challenges. The actress also encouraged her husband to trust God to lead him always.
“Ezedike you’re a Great man. And Great men face great challenges. Your life is in God’s hands. Trust that he will lead you always. Remain strong,” she wrote.
Yul replied in the comment section: “Amen! Thank you, Ijele Odogwu.”
Reacting publicly to the boy’s death for the first time, Judy said in an Instagram post on April 27 that God knows the reason for his sudden death.
The actress, who came under heavy criticism on social media following the boy’s death, described him as a “great son”.
She shared a candlelight photo on her Instagram page indicating that a loved one had died.
“God knows best. Rest in Heaven with God, Great son. Kambi Yul-Edochie,” she wrote.
Judy’s reaction came a few hours after the boy’s father Yul broke his silence on the incident.
Yul said in his Instagram post that his son made his mark in the world in just 16 years.
