Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola, has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for the first time in his career.
The Spanish tactician who moved to England last summer has endured an indifferent start to life in the country’s top flight.
But a run of three victories in February has seen the ex-Bayern Munich gaffer clinch the league’s top accolade.
City were rampant last month against Bournemouth, West Ham and Swansea – scoring nine goals and conceding just one.
The 46-year-old was selected by a combination of votes from a panel of experts and the public, from a four-man shortlist that featured Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho, Tony Pulis, of West Bromwich Albion, and Chelsea’s Antonio Conte.
Harry Kane, meanwhile, clinched the Player of the Month award while Chelsea’s Eden Hazard was rewarded for his superb strike against Arsenal with the Goal of the Month.
