No less than six persons were on Wednesday night kidnapped when armed bandits stormed Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Moriki town of Zurmi local government area of Zamfara State.
It was gathered that the suspected kidnappers stormed the school on motorcycles and attempted to break the locks of the hostels.
A source told BBC that the bandits whisked away two teachers and four nursing students – after failed attempts to break the hostels’ locks.
The source also said one man was shot dead by the bandits.
