Unknown gunmen have killed the bursar of Anglican Communion, Akure diocese, Gabriel Abiodun.
The bursar was attacked in the early hours of Thursday at the diocesan office at Alagbaka, Ondo State shortly after returning from a bank where he went to withdraw some money meant for the church.
The gunmen were said to have made away with about N500, 000 which they collected from the bursar.
Policemen have taken the corpse to an undisclosed mortuary.
Ondo police spokesperson, Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident, saying investigation had begun to apprehend the killers.
