Kaduna State first lady Hadiza El-Rufai on Wednesday joked about directing that Kaduna residents be served the Yoruba delicacy amala and ewedu.
Mrs El-Rufai had earlier shared a video on Twitter of herself enjoying the meal after a long time.
“After interventions by Prof Imodium et al., my mouth and my stomach have finally reconciled. I hope this friendship will last,” she wrote.
She followed it up with a joke.
“He who eats alone….So, I’ve made arrangements with Iya Basira of 419, Zuƙi Tamalle St., KD for everyone to be served amala and ewedu with orishirishi. Just tell her you’re from me. If you want gbegiri added, you’ll have to pay for that yourself. Offer valid only on 31/11/20,” she wrote.
The first lady regularly jokes on Twitter.
In July, she sent Eid-El-Kabir greetings to her followers on the social platform with a joke about the suspected internet fraudster Ramon Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi.
“Barka da Sallah. I’ve sent your Sallah meat by DHL. Tracking Number: Hush419Pup,” she tweeted.
