Hamzat condoles with Cornelius Ojelabi over wife’s death

The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, has condoled Mr Cornelius Ojelabi, the Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, over the death of his wife, Ebunoluwa Ojelabi.

Mrs Ojelabi, aged 64, died on March 24.

Hamzat in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr Tunde Alao, on Wednesday, joined the Ojelabi family in mourning the loss of a cherished wife.

He described the deceased as a devoted Christian, a loving and supportive wife to the Chairman.

“Late Mrs Ojelabi was an exceptionally caring and loving mother to the children and all those whom she has impacted their lives positively.

“She was indeed an embodiment of all the positives of a good wife and mother,” he said.

The deputy governor noted that the loss was difficult to bear, as Mrs Ojelabi was undoubtedly the pillar of her family and a beacon of wisdom and guidance within her community.

He prayed for God’s comfort to the family, grant the departed soul eternal rest and forgive all her shortcomings.
