Singer, Harrysong, has called for justice for his colleague, Alizee, who was allegedly killed by her Danish husband, Peter Nielsen, on Thursday.
The 29-year-old and her four-year-old daughter, Petra, died at their Banana Island home in Lagos.
In a message posted to Instagram on Sunday, Harrysong called for justice for Alizee and her daughter, adding “say no to domestic violence”.
Alizee was scheduled to perform at Harrysong’s Kingmaker Concert in Warri Delta State on April 29 along with Timaya, Duncan Mighty, Sound Sultan, Wande Coal, D’banj, Reminisce, Omawumi, Simi, Mayorkun and others.
She featured the 37-year-old Alterplate Music boss in her song, ‘Come and Take’.
The Lagos police command has arrested Mr Nielsen on suspicion of murder and informed the Danish embassy about its on-going investigation.
He (Nielsen) has been arrested and transferred to the State CID, Panti, for thorough investigation by the Homicide Department.
“The command has also written the embassy on the suspect that the police are investigating one of their national,” Lagos police spokesman, Chike Oti, said in a statement on Friday.
