Music stars Buju, Ayra Starr and Zinoleesky have become a trending topic on Twitter following The Headies announcement on the grand prize for Next Rated artiste.
The organisers of the award on Tuesday said that the winner of the most anticipated category will be given a 2022 Bently.
Reacting to this, Nigerians took to Twitter on Wednesday to predict which singer will most likely win the award and go home with the car.
“Who is Buju? Ruger is better than him in every way! Better voice! Better lyrics! Buju that’ll be sounding dem dey choke am becoz he got a feature from Wizkid doesn’t make him any better,” @Tera Tweeted.
Replying to Tera’s tweet, @Leedy wrote: “He might not win it but he definitely deserves to be in the conversation, Bounce topped charts for weeks even Dior and Snapchat are good songs and his Pandemic Ep was a success, if anything he at least deserves to be recognized and nominated, Buju for the win tho.”
