Comedienne and actress, Helen Paul, has knocked critics of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels’ alleged marriage to politician and lawyer, Ned Nwoko.
The 41-year-old gave the response in a video posted on Instagram on Sunday.
“Hypocracy of the highest order, ladies are used to killing and condemning each other. Do you know what she has gone through? Do you know what pushed her and her family to go into such a marriage? There are people who get married at an older age and their husbands are using them as punching bag. Why are we quick to judge women? The woman did this, the woman did that, What about the men?” she wrote in parts.
Qed.ng reported on Saturday that Regina Daniels finally went public with her reported romance with Ned Nwoko.
The duo stepped out together on Saturday as the Federal University of Petroleum (FUPRE), Effurun, Delta State conferred a doctor of science degree (honoris causa) on Nwoko.
There had been speculation in the media that the actress, who puts her age at 18, had gotten married to the prince of Idumuje-Ugboko kingdom in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Many traced the houses, flashy cars, fashion accessories and foreign trips she flaunts on social media to the politician.
