Super Eagles newbie, Henry Onyekuru, maintained his fine form for Anderlecht with his eighth of the season on Saturday.
The 20-year-old ex-Eupen star has made just two cameo appearances for his country.
Onyekuru, on loan from Everton, notched Anderlecht’s second in the 2-1 victory over Lokeren.
Pieter Gerkens opened the scoring for the visitors after just 17 minutes.
Less than 10 minutes later, Ari Skulason drew Lokeren level via a penalty kick.
Onyekuru, however, broke the hearts of the home crowd with a stunning finish, pouncing on a sublime pass from Sofiane Hanni, eight minutes before the hour mark.
The strike ensured Hein Vanhaezebrouck’s team returned with all three points.
They have now garnered 34 points from 17 games, climbing to third on the log, while Onyekuru moved to the top of the goalscoring charts in Belgium with eight goals and two assists.
