Galatasaray have moved into second position in the Turkish Super Lig table thanks to their 3-0 win against Kayserispor at Kadir Has Sehir Stadion Saturday evening.
Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru will report for international duty full of confidence, having ended a nine-game goal drought.
The Nigeria international tapped home the rebound from close range in the 18th minute after goalkeeper Muammer Yildirim parried the ball into his path before increasing the lead with 16 minutes left on the clock.
Henry’s other two goals came in the league against Göztepe and Alanyaspor in August.
Elsewhere, Blessing Eleke will be in search of his tenth goal in all competitions after the international break after scoring as Luzern recorded a 4-1 win over Lugano in the Swiss Super League.
He made an impact after coming off the bench in the 54th minute, first providing the assist for his team’s third goal seven minutes after he came on before writing his name on the score-sheet on 75 minutes.
No better way to bounce back from the set back in the week. Great team spirit a clean sheet and two goals ⚽⚽. All Glory to God! ❤💛🦁 pic.twitter.com/beT2jS5wkh
