Tochi Wigwe, daughter of the late founder of Wigwe University, on Thursday attended the university’s maiden matriculation ceremony.
The matriculation ceremony took place almost a month after academic activities started in the school.
The Rivers State-based varsity kicked off its academic operations more than 200 days after the death of its founder Herbert Wigwe.
Mr Wigwe, his wife Chizoba, first son Chizi and others died on February 9 in a helicopter crash in the United States.
A student of the university shared photos taken with Ms Wigwe at the matriculation on TikTok with the handle @sesmama.0.
“The daughter of our founder soo fine. Your speech motivated me. Thanks ma’am. Matriculation ceremony attended by Miss Tochi Wigwe,” the student wrote.
