High tension cables and a 40-feet truck have been affected after a petrol tanker went up in flames in the early hours of Saturday on Otedola Bridge in Lagos.
The incident occurred when the truck loaded with fabrics crashed into the petrol tanker.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) said the truck had a brake failure while heading to Berger.
The Lagos State Fire Service and Federal Road Safety Corps were part of the responders.
LASEMA spokesman Nosa Okunbor in a statement said: “No casualty was recorded. The fire has been put out by Lagos State Fire Fighters and LASEMA Response Team. Damping down concluded.”
