Actress Hilda Dokubo has kicked against the reopening of the Lekki toll gate.
Earlier, the Lekki Concession Company (LCC) announced that tolling activities will resume at the gate by April.
Reacting in an Instagram post on Thursday, Hilda stated that it was not the right time to re-introduce tolling at the gates.
The actress advised the government to solve the issues of fuel scarcity, power and security while adding that the country is at the brink of collapse.
The Lekki toll gate was shut down in October 2020 following an attack on unarmed EndSARS protesters.
