Abdul Rasheed Bello, husband of Nollywood megastar, Funke Akindele, has labelled his wife “hot and spicy” as she celebrates her 40th birthday.
The Jenifa actress attained the milestone age on Thursday, one day after the first anniversary of her marriage to the man popularly known as JJC Skillz.
JJC began the day on Instagram with a before and after picture of himself and his wife, chronicling how they went from friendship to relationship.
“It was like yesterday when I was just another face in the crowd to now being the lucky man you wake up to see every morning,” he wrote.
He ended the post with a prayer that “God will keep our love and hearts happy and our faces smiling throughout our earthly year”.
In yet another post, he described the University of Lagos Law graduate as hot and spicy, creative and caring.
Making an obvious allusion to the news of his wife’s pregnancy, he added: “Next year we shall have multiple reasons to celebrate by God’s grace”.
Funke and JJC had on Wednesday marked one year of their secret wedding by recreating the nuptial on Instagram.
The man confessed that the day was one of the happiest in his life.
Ikorodu-born Funke confirmed her pregnancy on Sunday when she appeared at the Glo Lafta Fest in Festac Town, Lagos with her protruding belly.
