Gospel concert The Experience will return to the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, for its 17th edition this year after two years of virtual and hybrid versions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the theme, Jesus: The Exceptional One, the event is scheduled to hold on Friday.
House on the Rock church, the organisers of the popular annual gospel concert, promised that this year’s edition of the event will be like no other held in the past.
The convener of the event and senior pastor of House on the Rock, Paul Adefarasin, promised it would be “a night of pulsating praise, passionate worship, fervent prayers and an outpouring of the presence of God like never seen before.”
In a recent Instagram post, Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin, wife of Pastor Paul, went down memory lane and shared pictures from previous editions of The Experience, beckoning members of the public to attend this year’s edition.
She wrote “There is this nostalgic feeling that runs through my veins when I go down memory lane of The Experience. Just like yesterday, here we are at the 17 edition of THE EXPERIENCE. Come this Friday, 2nd Dec, let’s celebrate, Jesus, The Exceptional one.”
Gospel artistes from within and outside Nigeria expected at the event include Travis Greene, Sinach, Donnie McClurkin, Nathaniel Bassey, Chandler Moore, Dunsin Oyekan, Phil Thompson, Muyiwa Olarewaju, Tim Hughes, Tope Alabi, Mercy Chinwo, Onos Ariyo, Preye Odede, Eno Micheals, Eben, and the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir of the House On The Rock church.
The artistes have also called on their followers to attend the event, adding that it is free of charge.
